The charming old Bulgarian traditional style, coupled with the modern facilities and high-quality fittings, created a perfect blend of authenticity and comfort. the hosts were warm, generous, and full of humor, making us feel right at home. the homemade produce, especially the jams, chutneys, and heavenly orange cake, showcased the family's talent and dedication to providing a memorable experience. The regional cuisine prepared by our host, Tony, and his wife at the small restaurant was outstanding. the lamb dish, needing 24 hours' notice, surpassed any we had in Turkey during a 6-month stay. the spacious rooms with firm beds, balcony views of the mountains, and peaceful surroundings ensured a restful stay. Tony's eclectic taste in music added a unique touch to our evenings, sparking interesting conversations and creating a cozy atmosphere. This hidden gem in the mountain village, just 5km from Stara Zagora, was a true find. With activities like hiking nearby, guests can enjoy the serene countryside and fresh air. the genuine hospitality, delicious food, and tranquil ambiance made our stay unforgettable. Semeen Hotel Beroe is a must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine Balkan experience with a touch of warmth and authenticity. We will definitely be returning for more of this Balkan charm!
